Psychological Health Coordinators

If you know of a Soldier or Airman in distress who needs immediate assistance, call the crisis hotline at 1-800-273-8255.

Psychological Health Coordinators (PHC) are a behavioral resource to guard leadership, members and their families. PHC's  provide assessments and referrals for guard members with acute behavioral health needs, conduct briefings, help identify and build resources, and engage in crisis and critical incident response services. PHC's also provide consultation with commanders/supervisors. While PHC's cannot perform Command Directed Evaluations or Fit for Duty Assessments, they evaluate a guard member’s current needs, provide brief skill building interventions, connect the service member with community resources, and consult with case management regarding cases. PHC's are full time civilian assets.
